Title: Update patch to almost 0.670 (outdated thread, 0.670 is out now)

This thread is outdated by HTHvT0670 release.

New version of patch is uploaded.

Contains also executable file hth_launch_fp11.exe just for case your antivirus removed it.

Overwrite existing v 0.669 files with this patch. If you already created or modified some XML files, copy them elsewhere first!!

What's new:
Game is more configurable from hth_config.xml replacing previous hth_config.txt with single parameter.
XML dialog IF condition can now ask if variable is defined.
New sprite data system created, dialog can fully control sprite actions and also save data sprites use out of dialog in zones (i.e. got naked or jizzed). Half of sprites modified to use this data.
Half of sprites updated to utilize hidden animations, controlled by dialog XML. For example Ava, Michelle, Shelly and to some extent also Jeanette and Vixxxen sprites can talk now. (Just move mouth for commanded time).
Doll play featuring these sprite actions added to example XMLs. Sprite control tags listed in appendix B of updated manual.

Luv what you doin! I still follow Crow but I can clearly see that he isn't going anywhere with his age-old project.

Patch for previous patch: Overwrite previously patched files with these.
Again, if you already have modified XML files, copy entire folder elsewhere so you don't lost it. You can you hth_config.xml to switch paths.

What's new:
More sprites upgraded, example XMLs updated with "doll" actions, manual updated with sprite actions.
Dialog travel through <resp go="..."> updated, zone and floor variable names now used instead of inconsistent frame labels. Also optional floor property <resp go="..." floor="..."> let's player travel to particular place in zone.

Yo what's up Tabby,

A few things to add to your bucket list; (I'm not sure if you can edit the actual animations at all but) fix Aleta's Sideways Vaginal scene, and fix player location in Rose's dialogue in the Gold Room (When you click "Sure let's do it" in the npc chat and travel to her private room and then click "Umm...I think I'll be going", it sends you to the Tower Lobby. A simple fix for that last one really. (Thanks for fixing Kylie in the northern falls. She's one of my long lost favorites.

Thanks for the patch Btw. I don't really know how to apply the patch. Do I replace the data folder with the new one in the patch or do I combine the contents?
Otherwise I get the menu screen and a broken launcher

Yes, patch contains only files that have changed since the version it is patching. That's why it is only ~100MB, not 1GB.
You need a full package in the beginning. In this case it's the version 0.669. Then overwrite outdated files by patch 0669-to-0670-minus-1/2 and then overwrite again by files in patch minus-1/2 to minus-1/4.

I've some difficulties with uploading anything above 100MB to Anonfile, including this patches. I can't upload to Mega at all. The only site that I found to work with Tor for files of 1GB size is the yiff.party But that one is not supposed for unfinished versions.

However, this version is for dialog developers. It works, but most characters have unfinished dialogs and some have no dialog XML files yet. So you have to make these yourself. There is a manual in the package.

How does this project work? Do I make edits and then you moderate them and they get added or am I making the dialogue for myself? Basically I'm asking if my efforts are going to be used in your HTH offline mod or am I doing this for myself?

First you briefly introduce yourself here https://hthddg.smfnew2.com/writers-introduction-character-claims/ and let others know what character you are working on now. If more writers want to do the same character, resolve that decent way. But that's hardly going to happen because there's only one other writer now who boldly chose the most prominent character. The other writers on u18chan didn't show here yet.
Then you can discuss particular character personality here https://hthddg.smfnew2.com/character-personality-talk/ with others (if there are some others) and finally upload XML files as attachments. These files are just few KB small so easy to handle.
Submitted XML files will be in next full version uploaded on yiff.party and secondary sites. If there are more alternative files for some character, I'll setup a poll.


I somehow screwed Rose XML file in last update, fixed version attached.

Ah! Sorry to make you assume I was working on Rio, I made that thread in the character personality talk as a preliminary-a test, or draft of how I should post character personalities. Rio being the mascot, I figured she would be perfect to set as an example. Sorry if I misled, I have not claimed anyone yet. I'll make a new thread in "Writers introduction, character claims" When I do so the requests are not hard to find in one thread.

I'm still working on updates, like missing dialog sprites, scene controllers bug fixes and keyboard control. Maybe I should send out update package. However long chain of patches gets a bit annoying and I still haven't found file sharing site for working versions that works with Tor for ~1GB full version archives.

However, do you guys use Tor too? If yes, there is simple way for me to share it with you using onionshare, sending you temporary onion link to PM.

You need all previous patches (-1/2 and -1/4) applied to version 0.669 before applying this patch to make it work.
Whats new:
-Dialog sprites for Brandy, Lucky and Star reusing zone sprites.
-Sprite dress control for Amber, Brandy, Star, Lucky, Eve and Goldie.
-Scene keyboard control fixed or added for characters from A to Kendra in alphabetical order.
-Scene return status fixed or updated for characters from A to Kendra in alphabetical order.
-Some minor fixes I've already forgotten.

... and again don't forget to safe your modified XML files before applying patch so you don't loose them overwritten.

Edit: And also I forgot to add updated manual with new sprite actions to this patch. Attached below now.
