Crow has repeatedly shown himself to be unable to get any of this crap done. He really, REALLY needs to admit he doesn't know what he's doing and take some classes or hire outside help, but that isn't happening.
My advice is to just ignore the bastard and focus on this project as its own thing. I know he grinds your gears, but going forward, pretend HTH is abandoned with no more work incoming. Because anything more he does will just make your work harder.
